Ability to Create Reusable Worfklows
Client would like the ability to create reusable workflows to use on similar lists.

I am pleased to announce this capability has rolled out this week as a Component Workflow. Learn more at https://www.nintex.com/blog/whats-new-component-workflows/

This is a much needed feature like we had in On-Prem SharePoint. Component workflows can still not be attached to a content type or set to trigger on a content type. We have a site which several lists using a single content type and writing a workflow for each list is very difficult. Currently the only option is for us to use SharePoint 2010 reusable designer workflow. I was hoping Nintex product team will allow this with Component Workflow.
Any update on the product road map to allow this?

Hi Rick,
Maybe a bit late, but I still would like to comment: "Classic" reusable Workflows (created from the site workflows menu page) can be linked to either one or all available Content Types, which makes the properties specified in the ct available in the workflow actions. Whereas a regular site workflow does not have this link to ct specific columns.
You can create a content type which you use for several lists/libraries (even within subsites) and have the one reusable workflow setup for that content type to run on all items using this ct without have to create the workflow for each individual list.
So question remains, can a Component Workflow provide in this requirement and if not are there any plans to implement content type based reusable workflows for O365.

Hi KP, Can you explain what you are trying to do with content types specifically? Ta, Rick

When can we expect this functionality on the roadmap.nintex.com?

This goes back to the old MOSS 2007 using 'snippets' to recreate common sections of workflow, which works great because you can then make minor changes to them once inserted, as no two workflows are generally identical (e.g. changes to approvers etc.)
In cases where the duplicate workflows were identical, and you could create one and then call it from another workflow as you suggest above, will it allow you to call the workflow from across sub-sites & other site collections?

Ok, so when will this be available and where do we find it?
How about some more details Nintex? -

For a potential customer, we would like to have an identical review workflow on 30 libraries of 10 different subsites. The are all linked to the same contenttype. It would be difficult to explain that we need 30 workflows for this.

The fact that this is not built in already is a travesty. It wastes me workflow subscriptions because I have to recreate the same workflow on every list in my environment.

Likewise, we have a client asking for this feature. They have 25 content types published to 400 site collections via Content Type hub.

Agreed, it is supported in SPD workflows. While it is easy to dismiss the need and say that workflows can be exported and imported, a reusable workflow can be associated with a content type for use in the Info Mgt Policies supporting calling the workflow for retention.

This was a key feature for us in the on-premises version, but still missing from O365.
Please consider adding this. -

I'll add another vote to this....I need this right now!

When will we have the ability to have reusable workflows for Office 365? This is such a huge feature and its lack is just unacceptable.

When will this feature be added? It is desperately needed!!

Reusable workflow of mode SharePoint 2013 platform can be created by sharepoint designer,so I want to ask if there is a plan to support reusable workflow in Nintex Workflow for Office 365 in later version.

Would really like to have a 'master' template for a workflow that I can roll out to multiple libraries - I believe that SP2013 version allows you to do this

Does Nintex for Office 365 support "ReUsable" workflow today??
