Skip action on error
Allow the option to skip an action if an error occurs while performing it. For example, if a user-defined emailed address is undeliverable for sending a notification, then allow the workflow to continue.

I would like to see this improvement. I'm on Prem currently SP2013. I am trying to update a person field from a single line of text column. If the person is retired, the update errors because the employee name isn't recognized. as a work around I created a separate workflow for the field update and set it to start on a separate Colum update that I know wont error.
I have 30,000+ records I'm trying to update and so far I've been running the workflow for THREE days. It times out eventually so I have to restart it.
You can see how this would be frustrating.
I'd like to support the specific case described above! Please provide error handling when sending email using the external sending service. Currently, if an invalid recipient is added the workflow terminates. A long and complex workflow process has terminated near its end because someone has entered .com instead of .com.au ! If the error could be captured this could be handled gracefully.
