Ability to include attachments for Task Emails
Need to have the option to include attachments for email notifications that are sent from the task actions.

We have released the first phase of task attachments. You can now add attachments to the Initial task emails. For more details, visit our community blog https://community.nintex.com/t5/Community-Blogs/Task-attachments-and-CC-BCC-Workflow-for-Office-365/ba-p/112529
In the next phase, we will add an option to include attachments for Reminder and Escalation emails.

Very disappointed. Most of our tasks have task forms rather than lazy approval. We still have to keep our work around of putting links to the attachments in the task emails that go out.
This has been critical since we moved to O365 and it would have been nice if Nintex had raised this before we migrated. We may have considered 2016 instead.
Perhaps you should chat to Microsoft about this and work on a resolution.

This update will be made to Lazy Approval emails only as the native SharePoint task emails does not allow attachments

There is a limit on the size of the attachments as this is the restriction from our email provider.

I see we can now add attachment to task with lazy approval. Are you working on non-lazy approval task attachments?

Please also remove the 25MB upload limit! A SharePoint list supports attachments up to 250MB. We need to be able to upload attachments larger than 25MB.

Any update on this? I really need to have the functionality so that users can upload attachments to the list item from a task form...

Hi All...One thing I started doing as a work around for this. Take your Tasks to the cloud and use an NWC Component workflow. You can create a generic task and just pass everything up as a variable. Once in NWC you can use the SharePoint Get Attachment actions and then attach them to the email.
Or use an O365 Component workflow and build hyperlinks to your attachments and save them into a Rich Text field and control. If you scroll down you will see links to my blog posts.

This is an very important feature/bug that helps task approver to review the attachment and than provide the approval from Email itself versus going to the SharePoint site and then reviewing the attachment and approving.

if anyone needs a workaround until this is release, my blogs are posted below, but I also created a component workflow to do this as well, You call can have it. If you want to check out my session from ProcessFest it will be available on-demand soon.

While doing this please allow for a Collection Variable of file URLs to be attached like on-prem. We rarely know how many attachments we need to attach and attaching a number of string variable limits this number.

Please add this functionality. My current work-around is sending email with the attachment ahead of the task, then noting in the task that the attachments are in the previous email. It is very kludgy, and the users do notice.

This is pretty much a deal breaker. If I had known this wasn't possible, we would never have migrated to o365.
