Add Variables to the O365 List Query CAML Editor
I need to dynamically build a CAML query where there may be 1 to many conditions in the <Where> filter. Right now I have to know how many conditions will be in <OR> before I publish the workflow.

Notes
Provide the ability to create notes in-line. Maybe as a workflow action that does nothing, but the designer can provide helpful notes to anyone else that may be looking at the workflow. This would also help where a workflow can't be saved(not published) without any incomplete actions and I can use "Notes" to provide place holders.

Edit/Configure Action Panel
Would be great if you could enlarge the hit space or add copy/delete actions to the configuration page instead of just using the little dropdown.
I have had numerous challenges when demoing it, or just using it and tried to click on just the right spot so I can open up the little panel to copy and paste actions or delete them. If it was possible to make the "hit' area larger or add that functionality in the ribbon of the configuration panel, that would be great.

Cant build out web service URL in SharePoint
When using the designer to construct a call to a web service in SharePoint: (http://sharepoint/15/_vti_bin/service.asmx) and I use the Workflow Context with the current site url. It always moves the 15 to the front:
so instead of seeing:
{workflow Content: Current site}/15/vtibin/webs.asmx
I see:
15/{workflow Context: Current Site}/vtibin/webs.asmx

Put help directly into configure action dialog
It would be nice to have a bit more information about each action available at our fingertips. Especially as a beginner, I don't always have a clue what an action does, or why you would use it. The action help is useful, but if you pulled the section "What can I do with this workflow action?" into the left column of the "configure action" dialog box. Additionally, more actions need that "What can I do with this workflow action?" section in their help.

Allow inserting workflow variables and building a dynamic link when inserting a hyperlink on a task form
When inserting a hyperlink e.g. in a label on a task form, you can only type in a hard coded link and cannot use the context, form fields, or workflow variables to dynamically build a link. This means you cannot easily show a link to the item the task is running on.
Please allow support to build a dynamic hyperlink like the on prem product, or allow use of the 'Related Items' field in the task form as Nintex mysteriously removes this when you customise the task form.

Fix bugs in deselecting all workflow start options
If you deselect all workflow start options, but have another workflow on the list starting on item creation, your workflow with no start options will also start when you add a new item! This also results in weird behaviour in other lists with workflows set to run on creation, whereby you get a 'deleted association' which is the workflow from the other list with no start options. Really odd. Raised with Nintex support and current advice is to ensure your workflows always have at least one start option.
However on premise you can deselect all start options, and this allows…

Provide Example of Input requested on Update Item Permissions action fields
Provide Example of Input requested on Update Item Permissions action fields. Specifically the 'Update Items When Column Field.' User was unaware the form required the column name to be manually typed in. Showing examples will alleviate some potential for user error in workflow design

Allow impersonation
One feature that I find particularly helpful when designing workflows on premise is to use the impersonation feature included in the Action Set. I've recently been asked to update a 365 workflow and the ability to run the workflow as the workflow owner would be incredibly useful.

start form
The ability to customise the workflow initiation form would be useful.

It would be nice to have a refresh button for the work flow.
If I add a field to the list, I cannot finnd it back in the Nintex Workflow Designer.

Automate Configuration of Site and System Master Pages
One is able to automate site creation, however not the configuration and setting up of a site or system master page. Being able to configure this will move the developer one step closer to fully automating site creation.

Activate/De-activate site feature (Automation) e.g. SharePoint Publishing
Nintex workflow provides functionality to automate site creation removing in the "admin" and dependency on a human to create sites e.g. project sites.
We are still not able to automate the enabling of the SharePoint Publishing feature automatically. This means that we can only semi-automate site creation.
I'm sure there are many users who would appreciate being able to enable/disable SharePoint Publishing and other site features using a workflow/web service.

Create link to item properties in task
Currently when using a document library, when you run a task process, the task gets created, with a link to the item. Problem is the item is the document, and there is no way to link back to the item properties and look at these, which are important for a user to make decision on what to do in that task. Of course you can include a link to these details in an email, but in a task it is no good.

Use PDF form and collect XML data
I used to work with PDF forms that send out an email with XML data that would populate a list.
This function is no longer availabel in the cloud version of SharePoint. I hope this would be possible with a Nintex workflow.3 votes
