Workflows – Delegation
Unable to delegate tasks anymore, functionality is just gone. Can follow some forum guides to hack it back in with custom fields and a new custom workflow

Workflow statuses - inconsistent and difficult to report on
Inconsistent and difficult to report on, have to manually set the visible ‘Status’ field to ‘In Progress’ inside the workflow itself. If there is an error the view in the library/list will still show the workflow as ‘In Progress’ you have to go into the workflow history on the item and some special internal status field will say ‘Cancelled’ or ‘Error Occurred’ and you cannot put that field in the views

Workflows - slow to save/load
Currently my workflows take 2-3 minutes to load and save, how is this performance level acceptable?

Workflows - bring back functions and formulas
Currently the cloud workflows have no functions or formulas, all gone and replaced with about a dozen new workflow actions. Coverage is incomplete, plenty of missing functions that we used on premises on a regular basis. Can we please add these back to the product?

It would be great if when doing a search through help that it filters based on product.
Search on Runtime Functions from within Help whilst in the Workflow designer- it will show you an article in Help about Runtime functions - related to Forms. Doesn't work in Workflow. It was misleading!

Closing site workflow designer to return to workflows home page instead of site home page
When closing a site workflow designer please make it return to the Workflow App home page instead of site homepage. It is annoying especially when you have to check scheduling etc. after closing the designer, when you have to come back to the Workflow app the long way.

Option to suppress "Start Component Workflow" wf history entries
It would be useful to have an additional option in the "Start Component Workflow" action that gives the possibility to suppress the automatically generated log entries in the workflow history.
Whenever you start a component workflow it logs the id of the component workflow started and when the comp workflow is finished all outcome variables are logged as well.
Since our customers use the workflow history to see what is going on, they should not see technical messages like that.
It would be more useful to be able to store the instance id of the started comp workflow in a…

Advanced lookup: Provide value-based drop-down for Choice fields
Hello,
for virtually every Action, the workflow designer can use "dynamic" data based on the workflow context, for example, for recipients, filters, notifications etc.
A typical Scenario is a Run-If Action, where the embedded Action should only execute if the value of a certain attribute for "Current Item". Now imagine that the column on which you want to check for the value is of type "Choice", i.e., has a predefined list of possible values.
In order to ease the process of Workflow design, such fields in an "Advanced lookup" should present a drop-down with all possible values to the Workflow…

Exception Handling when Task Outcome Content Types are deleted
When creating custom Task Outcomes in a Task Action, a new Content type is automatically being created at Site Level and added in the Workflow Task list.
We had a heavy workflow with different Tasks and used this "custom Outcomes" until we realized it would be more efficient with custom Content types for our outcomes.
We refactored the workflow, forgetting a couple of Task Actions, and deleted automatically generated Content Types that were still in use.
The designer won't open the workflow anymore. The Null Pointer Exception is not caught.
Hours of work were lost as we couldn't save the…

Variable task outcomes in 'Start a task process'
When using the 'Start a task process' action the Outcomes have to be added/updated one at a time. It would be nice to provide one Workflow Variable as a delimited string with the Task Outcomes as the outcomes may depend on item properties. You could then add your own conditional logic for each expected outome. Key is to make the action more dynamic and versatile.

alert when fails
In Nintex Worklfow OnPrem you got an email notification when a workflow fails and you also had a create graphic or audit report to identify the reason. Now with OnLine....there is nothing to alert you to errors! Bring back the email alert and graphical representation!

Modify variable type if not used in current WF
Every so often I accidentally will create the wrong variable. Just now, I accidentally created an Integer when I intended to create a collection. (I used a "Create New Variable" button at the bottom of the action... which happened to be for integers. Whoops.)
I'd like to be able to go in and modify the type so I don't have to delete and then re-create.
Super minor, but a nice to have :)

Enhance the 'query xml' action to support setting multiple variables at once
The current Query XML action is limited to just being able to set one variable (collection) as its output. We would like to see (just like in the On Premise version) that you can have multiple variable assignments in one action.

Give the possibility to customize the actionnable messages
When we use the actionnable message in the task validation we can't customize the message in appearance or langage. I wish i can change the Nintex logo by the enterprise logo, use the enterprise graphic charter, use the langage of the enterprise country... for creating a custom message with actionnable message

Workflow Constants (Note: not for credentials - see Connection manager in the Nintex community)
Create a centralized location where values can be assigned to constants for use across the tenancy or Site Collection by all workflows. Allows the use of consistent values for parameters. The values can be centrally managed so that all parties use consistent values that can be easily updated and immediately applied to wherever they are used. An example could be a discount rate used for financial calculations or a department cost center code.

Can you share some examples of how you are using constants in your workflows?

Log To History
Include a "Log to History" check box in all actions so we do not have to create a separate Log to History Action item in the workflow to record the current status.

Help
You Help Pages are just the worst. Half of them are missing fields and when they do have fields, there are not examples and not descent explanations of the contents. E.g. Create List Item....click on HELP...half the fields from the action are not even explained
